A distinguished retired military officer, former Governor of Kano State, and Nigerian High Commissioner to Zimbabwe, Col. Bello brings a wealth of governance and board-level experience.
He has chaired boards of key institutions including Continental Merchant Bank Plc, Globe Reinsurance, and Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc. He has also served on the boards of MTN Nigeria and Huawei. His leadership anchors Verve with wisdom, discipline, and strategic foresight.
An alumnus of the University of Paris with degrees in Political Science and Economics, and further trained at both the Lagos Business School and the Swiss Insurance Training School, Mr. Falohun began his career with Glanville Enthoven and progressively rose to the position of General Manager at Leadway Assurance Plc. He later served as MD/CEO of Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc, Equity Assurance Plc (now SUNUN Assurance Plc).
He sits on the board of several other financial Companies, Goldman Assets, BishopGate Microfinance Ltd amongst others and is a member of the Institute of Directors. His vast expertise drives our strategic direction and financial strength.
With over 50 years of insurance experience, Mr. Olatunde is a veteran underwriter and seasoned executive. He holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Lagos and has held leadership positions in NICON Insurance and Sentinel Assurance.
He joined Verve in 2010 and leads the company with a deep understanding of underwriting, claims management, and insurance administration.
Mr. Wilfred Ogbolu is a highly experienced insurance broker with over 15 years consummate experience in all areas and classes of insurance brokerage. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Lagos State University. He joined Verve in 2023 as the Head, Claims and Underwriting.

She has worked extensively with international and domestic organizations.
A public relations expert with over two decades of experience, Mr. Badejo-Okusanya is the President of the African Public Relations Association and GMD of CMC Connect. He has consulted for Shell, BAT, FIRS, and Transcorp, among others. His insight in brand strategy and reputation management enhances our stakeholder engagement.
Mr. Wasiu holds a 2nd Class Upper Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos. He has over 12 years’ experience in insurance underwriting and claims and is currently a student member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance of Nigeria (CIIN).
Miss Charity Okoli is a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Enugu, where she obtained Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
She has gathered over fourteen years’ experience as a Marketing Manager, most of which have been in senior roles. Prior to her appointment, she served as the Marketing Manager of MH Healthcare Limited alongside other functions. Since joining Verve Insurance Brokers Limited, she has worked in the Business Development Unit and in various increasing capacities and now heads the unit.
Mrs. Abosede Soboyede, is an ambitious and very innovative individual with experience of over 15 years spanning areas of marketing, administration, customer relationship and credit control amongst others. She has particularly excelled in client servicing & management and medical claims & case management, including provider management.
Prior to joining Verve Insurance Brokers Ltd, she worked with a number of top Healthcare organizations such as MH Healthcare Ltd, Guardian Healthcare Ltd, Unic Health (Unic Insurance Plc), Lagoon Hospital / Hygeia Ikeja and has a proven track record of excellence and client satisfaction.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Olabisi Onabanjo University, in Ogun State and a National Diploma in Business Studies/ Management from Lagos State Polytechnics, Isolo, Lagos.
Mr. Sunday Adeyemo is a graduate of accounting from the Lagos State University.
Prior to joining the company, he started his career as a Registrar at Pass Associates Limited. Since joining Verve Insurance Brokers Limited, he has worked in the Accounts department in various increasing capacities and now heads the unit. He is currently writing professional examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
A legal practitioner with LLB and LLM degrees from the University of Lagos, Miss Olawale provides legal advisory, company secretarial, and governance support. She has worked across insurance, real estate, and financial services sectors, ensuring legal compliance and regulatory alignment.
